Sheffield Tigers play in North 1 which is National League level 5. This level is a good standard of Junior club rugby. Tigers run 3 Senior XVs, a Vets XV and Mini/Junior teams. Our aim is to provide a game of rugby for anyone who wants to play and a friendly social club for anyone who wishes to become a supporter.
Mens training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 18:30 at the Clubhouse. Tuesday evening is for general fitness and skills training for all players. Thursday evening is more orientated towards the 1st & 2nd XV squad, although all players are encouraged to attend as this session includes team moves and personal training.
The Clubhouse is normally open Tuesday and Thursday evenings and, Saturday afternoon for matches. Tuesday evening is Tigers Club night where, after about 20:30, older members and ex-players come up to socialise. Team selection also takes place on a Tuesday evening after training.
The Clubhouse is open on Sunday mornings from 10:30 for Mini/Junior training and Mini/Junior matches.

Sheffield Tigers own the Clubhouse and the grounds which include 3 flat pitches, 2 of which are National League size, and 1 which is shorter. Tigers also own a 4th pitch which slopes from end-to-end and is known as the 'Eiger'. The Clubhouse which has been fully modernised in the last few years, has a bar, kitchen, a large utility room and 5 changing rooms each with its own shower block. Also, there are 2 referees changing rooms, each with a self contained shower. There is reserved disabled parking and disabled access to, and toilet facilities within the Clubhouse.
Local Directions The club is situated in a rural setting on the Southwest edge of the city at the start of the Peak District. It is about 5 miles from the city centre and is easily accessible by car or bus. It is located on the A625 out of Sheffield towards Hathersage and the entrance is on the right hand side about 200m past the Dore Moor Inn public house. The no. 30 bus goes from the city towards Dore and stops just below the Dore Moor Inn, within easy walking distance of the Clubhouse. Also, the less frequent no. 272 goes from the city to Castleton and stops right outside the Dore Moor Inn.
