Tigers RFU Raffle 2008
This year we have again decided to participate in the National Draw which has been organised by the RFU. This gives a much larger, and attractive Prize Pool. 90% of the money raised by the sale of tickets is returned to the club as a tax free donation from the RFU.
As well as individual prizes, there are various prizes for the 7 clubs selling the highest number of tickets. Clubs selling over £100 worth of tickets also go into a draw for further prizes.
We will be sending £10 of tickets to individual club members, and we ask you all to either sell the tickets or purchase them yourselves. Tickets for the Junior/Mini Membership will be distributed via the Juniors Section.
To encourage ticket sales the names of all the people who have sold £10 or more will be entered into a Tigers draw with at least 15 prizes. This will be held on Tuesday 15th April 2008 in the clubhouse at 9pm.
If, as we hope, you sell these, then you can obtain further books from us.
The tickets will be sent out in early February 2008 and we shall need the counterfoils and cash returned by 8th April 2008.
The draw itself takes place on 14th May 2008. A Full list of prizewinners will be posted on RFU website and a list distributed to participating clubs by 14th June 2008. |
Because this is a national draw, we have to account for all the tickets, so if you cannot sell them, we would appreciate it if you would return the unsold tickets to us.
