22/06/09 Tigers Re-Instated into North Leagues for Season 2009-10. Following Halifax RUFC’s recent withdrawl from Nation Three North (to start again in Yorkshire 5 as an Amateur club), Tigers have been ‘level shifted’ back into National Three North from the original ‘level shift’ into National Three Midlands.
The new National Three Regions will have a bonus points system for the first time, in line with the other National Leagues, and the divisions have been increased from 12 to 14 clubs (with no Cup competition). Tigers will be playing in National Three North.
Teams in National Three North are: Beverley, Birkenhead Park, Chester, Cleckheaton, Darlington Mowden Park, Middlesbrough, Morley, Penrith, Rochdale, Rossendale, Sheffield Tigers, Stockport, West Hartlepool, West Park (St Helens).
New teams this season are Darlington Mowden Park (relegated from National 3), Penrith (winner of North 2 East), Rochdale (winner of North 2 West), Rossendale (North 2 East/West play-off winner) and Chester (‘level shifted’ from Midlands 1).
Our opening fixture will now be: 5th September Home to Penrith,

25/05/09 Tigers U20 Development Squad has been attracting attention from around South Yorkshire. To that end, the first of the development sessions will commence at the Clubhouse on Tuesday 2nd June 2009 at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.
We are excited about the interest already shown by some exceptional players from the local area wanting to be involved with Tigers.
We wiill be assessing the players and creating some real challenges to push them forward in their development.
