Autumn Internationals 2020
- Sunday 15th November 2020
This year's Autumn International rugby matches will be replaced by a new eight-team tournament – the Autumn Nations Cup – which features the Six Nations teams plus Fiji and Georgia.
The format for the Autumn Nations Cup will be two pools of four.
Group A - England, Georgia, Ireland and Wales
Group B - Fiji, France, Italy and Scotland
The Autumn Nations Cup will see 16 matches played across four weekends, running from Friday 13th November to Sunday 6th December.
Each team will play the other three teams in their respective Group over three consecutive weekends. A week after, the Autumn Nations Cup enters the ‘Finals Weekend’ with each team playing a team from the other Group. In the Finals Weekend, each team will play the same ranked team in the other group – first in Group A v first in Group B, second in Group A v second in Group B, third in Group A v third in Group B and fourth in Group A v fourth in Group B. This will determine the overall standings of the 2020 Autumn Nations Cup.
