Introducing Sheffield Tigers 1932s — A New Senior Development Team for 2026/27
Sheffield Tigers RUFC is proud to announce the launch of Sheffield Tigers 1932s, a new senior development team competing in Counties 2 Yorkshire B (Level 8) for the 2026/27 season.
The 1932s have been created to strengthen the club’s senior rugby structure and provide a high‑quality competitive environment for developing players. The squad will operate as a bridge between social senior rugby and 1st XV rugby, giving younger players the platform to grow, compete and push for higher honours.
The 1932s will also offer a pathway for U18 players who are ready to make the step into senior rugby, ensuring they can transition safely and successfully into the adult game.
The name “1932s” honours the year Sheffield Tigers was founded — a reminder that every player who pulls on the shirt represents nearly a century of Tigers history.
This new team is a major step forward for the club, strengthening our depth, our pathway, and our long‑term ambition.
One Club. One Pathway. One Future.
Sheffield Tigers 1932s.
