Tigers had been rewarded with a Yorkshire cup Semi final after sticking out tough games and conceding limited points in their previous rounds.

February half term was not the ideal time for Tigers as several players were unavailable due to holidays and trips!

York flew out the blocks and drew first blood only to repeat this a few moments later. 12-0

Tigers retaliated with what is definitely a try of the season contender. Tigers attacked left and put the ball through multiple hands to Winger Holliday who made a great carry, from that the ball went to Walkers hands who put a huge crossfield kick in. The ball bounced up to Snow who showed great strength and composure to offload to supporting number 8 Carter who showed a clean pair of heels to score. Converted by Walker.

12-7.

Unfortunately this would be the only highlight as York put their foot on the gas and scored a flurry of tries.

Tigers formidable defence was not to be on this day and couldn't handle the intensity of a clinical York side.

FT 32-7

Well done to York for making the final and a big hand to the Tiger boys who have shown so much improvement this season.

Man of the match went to Taite Elstron who added a real spark off the bench.
